More than $1,000 of bicycles, skateboard stolen from Glen Ellyn garage

GLEN ELLYN – Glen Ellyn thefts reported between May 19 and 25 included more than $1,000 worth of bicyles and a skateboard from a residential garage, according to police reports.

Someone reportedly stole several bicycles and a longboard, together valued at $1,450, from an unlocked garage at 8:06 a.m. May 24 in the 600 block of Crescent Boulevard, police said.

Other reported thefts included:

• Someone reportedly stole a store sign valued at $300 from the front of The Prince's Table at 4:45 p.m. May 19 at 530 Duane St., police said.

• Someone reportedly stole a cell phone from a locked locker between 10:30 and 11:25 a.m. May 22 at Beister Gym, 650 Crescent Blvd., police said.

One burglary also was reported near the end of May in the village.

Someone reportedly stole keys and a wallet from an unlocked vehicle between 11:30 and 11:40 a.m. May 20 at HealthTrack Sports Wellness, 875 Roosevelt Road.
