Professional organizers fix up homes to help two La Grange kids save their sight
LA GRANGE – Fifty of the Chicago area’s top professional organizers are donating their time to help two local children save their sight.
Mirielle and Patrick St. Arnaud of La Grange were born with severely impaired vision as a result of Leber’s Congenital Amaurosis (LCA), one form of Retinal Degenerative Disease that affects more than 10 million people in the U.S.
Organize 4 Eyes gives homeowners the chance to have their homes organized by professionals while funding research of the diseases. For $1,000, 25 homeowners will receive seven hours of home organization by two professional organizers (totaling 14 hours), along with services including paper shredding, junk hauling and assistance with selling items on eBay. Participants will be entered into a raffle for interior design services, computer services and more.
