The Riverside 11U Rockets travel baseball team won the Chicago Sunday Baseball League Memorial Day Tournament with a 5-0 record.

The Rockets beat out Chicago-McGuane Park, Flossmoor, Oak Lawn, Hobart, Ind., and Homer Glen travel teams to take home the championship trophy. The Rockets benefited from closing out three games early by slaughter to keep their pitchers more fresh.

In the championship game, the Rockets beat Homer Glen, which entered with a 4-0 record, 11-0 in five innings.
