Babysitting class offered at Cook County Farm Bureau

COUNTRYSIDE – Teens or pre-teens interested in babysitting can earn certification at a class co-hosted by the Cook County Farm Bureau and University of Illinois Extension.

The class will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at the Cook County Farm Bureau, 6438 Joliet Road, and will include seven different lessons on topics like understanding children, the business of babysitting and nutrition.

Attendees will receive certification after completion of the class. The cost to attend the classes is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. Those interested can register for the class by calling 708-354-3276.
