ELMHURST – Edward Hospital & Health Services and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare will have new leaders when the systems merge next month.

Pam Davis will maintain her role as president of Edward Hospital, but also act as the new system's CEO. Mary Lou Mastro, president of Linden Oaks at Edward since 2002, will report to Davis when she becomes president of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare on July 1.

Gina Sharp, controller at Linden Oaks at Edward since 2004, also will report to Davis as the new president of Linden Oaks, according to a news release.

Elmhurst Memorial's acting president and CEO, Jim Doyle, will assume the role of transition officer for the new system, also under Davis' direction. He will be responsible for leading integration efforts while the two organizations merge.

The merger, expected to be finalized July 1, will combine Edward, Linden Oaks at Edward and Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare into a new system with $1 billion revenues and a service area of 1.7 million residents.
