Bill Ackerman – Downers Grove North's Connor Kopach rounds first in the Trojans' game with Downers Grove South in Naperville in a baseball sectional playoff game on Wednesday, May 29, 2013.

NAPERVILLE - Matt Zabloudil gave Downers Grove North's baseball team a lead and plenty of momentum with a three-run home run Saturday.

Unfortunately, the Trojans couldn't hold a 4-1 lead or the momentum in a 12-4 loss to host Neuqua Valley in a Class 4A sectional championship game.

The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning before Zabloudil's blast in the top of the second also drove in James Sheldon and David Henson for a 3-1 lead. The Trojans (22-12) made it 4-1 in the third when Troy Southard's sacrifice fly plated Conner Kopach.

Neuqua erupted for three runs in the bottom of the third, four in the fourth and three more in the sixth in seal the game.
