Westmont police take part in 'Cop on Top', raise funds for Special Olympics Illinois
WESTMONT – Chief Thomas Mulhearn and fellow Westmont police officers stood on the roof of the Dunkin' Donuts on 63rd Street and Cass Avenue to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois Friday morning.
The "Cop-on-Top" fundraiser took place from 6 a.m. to noon on May 31 at Dunkin' Donuts at 19 W. 63rd St. as part of the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Illinois.
This year is the 11th anniversary of the "Cop-on-Top" fundraiser throughout Illinois.
