The 4th annual Firefighter Date Auction is set for 7 p.m. at Mahoney's, 551 N. Ogden Ave. in Chicago. Tickets are on sale now for $30, which includes drinks and food. Tickets can be purchased at www.mahoneyspubchicago.com.

Firefighters up for auction included some from departments in Cicero, Stickney, Westchester and Alsip.

A total of 17 firemen from Alsip, Berkeley, Blue Island, Chicago, Cicero, Plainfield, Robbins, Stickney, Westchester, and one volunteer firefighter are being offered for a date.

Returning firefighters from last year's  event include Lieutenant John McClement, Stickney, and firefighters Andy Michaels, Brad Erickson and Joe Belgio from Cicero.

All proceeds from the event go to the Relay for Life Team Extinguishing Cancer benefiting the American Cancer Society. This year's goal is $8,000.
