Lindop District 92 named one of country's most tech-savvy
BROADVIEW – Lindop District 92 was named one of the country's most tech-savvy school districts last month.
In an annual Digital School Districts Survey conducted by the Center for Digital Education and the National School Boards Association, Lindop took 10th place nationally among districts with less than 3,000 students.
The survey gauges district's use of technology to govern the district and communicate with students and parents.
Lindop has an advanced technology curriculum for grades 3-8 that includes 3-dimensional architecture, computer programming, 2-dimensional animation and movie-making. All Lindop classrooms have interactive boards, TVs and at least four computers, said Joshua Eliscu, the district's director of instructional technology.
