WESTMONT – Westmont's annual Memorial Day parade didn't step off Monday as planned.

Event organizers canceled the parade, hosted by American Legion Post 338, due to a forcecast that called for inclement weather, according to a release from the village of Westmont.

As of Tuesday there were no known plans to re-schedule the event. Organizers could not be reached for comment.

Also canceled was the ceremony planned after the parade at the Veterans Memorial at 75 E. Richmond St.
