Lisle Police Department to check for seatbelts this weekend
LISLE – As Memorial Day weekend is here with holiday traffic in tow, the Lisle Police Department is making sure motorists will be buckled up.
The Lisle Police Department has been enforcing the 2013 Click It or Ticket campaign since May 10 in order to ensure safety for the summer, according to a Lisle Police Department press release. The campaign runs through the weekend through Monday.
“As we kick-off the busy summer driving season, it’s important that everyone remembers to buckle up on every trip, every time, day or night – no excuses,” Commander Ron Wilke of the Lisle Police Department said. “Our officers are prepared to ticket anyone who is not wearing a seat belt.”
