District 86 appoints interim principals for 2013-14 school year

HINSDALE – The District 86 Board of Education unanimously approved the appointments of Tom Paulsen and Frank Kesman as interim principals of Hinsdale Central High School for the 2013-14 school year, according to a news release.

Kesman served as the inaugural principal of St. Charles High School and opened its new facility in September 2000. He remained in that position for six years until his retirement in 2005.

Prior to his time there, Kesman was assistant principal at Naperville North High School for 23 years.

Meanwhile, Paulsen served as principal of Naperville Central High School for 13 years and assistant principal for eight years. He later was appointed as associate superintendent of operations for Naperville Community Unit School District 203.

He remained in that position for four years until his retirement in 2007.
