DARIEN – Musicians ages 12 to 19 are encouraged to submit an application to the Indian Prairie Public Library to be considered for a spot in The Sound, a teen musical festival featuring performances starting at 6 p.m. June 28 in Borse Park in Willowbrook.

The library is looking for groups, bands, solos and duos of any style. Applications are available online or at the Ask Us Desk in the Kids and Teens Department.

Applications and demos should be submitted by June 10.

A team of judges will select winners in solo, duo and group categories, and award cash prizes. A fan favorite will be chosen by text-in voting.
