New bar may open soon in Hinsdale at Fuller's Home and Hardware

HINSDALE – The construction of a new family-friendly sports bar called Fullersburg Grill may begin by Aug. 1 in Hinsdale as part of Fuller's Home and Hardware on 1st Street.

Owner Doug Fuller said he would open a sports bar if he was granted permission to have liquor-service hours extended.

According to the liquor license application for the Village of Hinsdale, the cutoff times for a restaurant wanting to serve alcohol is 10:30 p.m. on weekdays and midnight on weekends.

During the Hinsdale Village Board meeting on Tuesday, trustees voted, 4-2, to approve the new extended hours clarification. This allows Fuller and other Hinsdale restaurants to apply for a license that allows liquor to be sold until 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and 12:30 a.m. on weekends.

Fuller's Home and Hardware will remain as is through the July 4 holiday.
