LISLE – For the 11th-straight year, Lisle police officers will stake out the rooftops of Dunkin' Donuts for charity.

On Friday, May 31, Lisle officers will join a state-wide effort to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois, accepting donations from patrons, who will then receive a free donut, at the Lisle Dunkin' Donuts at 1109 Maple Ave.

The event begins at 5 a.m.

The Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run has raised nearly $28 million over 27 years while increasing awareness of Special Olympics Illinois athletes and their accomplishments.
