Itasca Woman goes out on a ledge for lung health
CHICAGO – Would you go over the edge to bring awareness to a cause you care about? What if it meant holding onto a rope and lowering yourself down 278 feet on the side of a Chicago building?
Sandra Hensley, of Itasca, did just that on
Hensley was one of 67 daredevil participants who were strapped in and then rappelled down 27 floors of the Wit Hotel in Chicago recently during Skyline Plunge! Chicago. The event was sponsored by Respiratory Health Association to raise funds and awareness for local lung disease research and programs.
