Brookfield Public Library offers quiet zone for high school students
BROOKFIELD – Studying for final exams in high school requires concentration, and a noisy household can be a big problem.
And is there a more reliable facility than a library when silence is a must?
For the second straight year, the Brookfield Public Library converted one of its conference rooms into a quiet study space for local students preparing for their upcoming exams. The Final Countdown, as the event has come to be known, was held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. May 20 and 21.
