School on Wheels seeking English tutors

LA GRANGE PARK – School on Wheels is holding training sessions for new English tutors June 1 and 8.

The organization offers free English training in seven west suburban towns on a school bus converted into a classroom. New tutors must have a strong command of English but need not have any second-language skills. Tutors must be available for one hour of instruction per week.

The sessions will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 1 and 8 at the Congregation of St. Joseph, 1515 W. Ogden Ave.

School on Wheels offers tutoring in Hodgkins, Woodridge, Cicero, Summit, Villa Park, Lombard and Westmont. Tutors can select their location.
