Hinsdale Humane Society hosts kids drawing contest

HINSDALE – National Be Kind to Animals Week is dedicated to raising awareness about treating animals with kindness and respect. Hinsdale Humane Society will again celebrate Be Kind to Animals during the month of May with a kids art contest.

Children in grades kindergarten through eighth are encouraged to share their love for animals by submitting a drawing in the art contest. They're welcome to use markers, crayons, colored pencils, chalk or acrylic. Drawings can be on their favorite paper and size.

Artwork can be mailed or dropped off to the shelter, 22 N. Elm St., by theMay 31 deadline.

The completed artwork will be displayed in the lobby of the shelter. Prizes will be awarded to the top entries.
