DOWNERS GROVE – Downers Grove North High School upperclassmen arrived in tuxedos and dresses Saturday at the school's Main Street lobby before this spring's prom.

The students met to take pictures and find their friends before boarding buses that took them to Navy Pier in Chicago for the big dance.

Chaperones said the 540 students in attendance were well-behaved at the dance, which was themed as a Greek "Night of the gods" this year, according to School District 99 Spokesperson Jill Browning.

The night ended with a fireworks display over the lake.
