Cantigny Park to waive parking for active duty men and women until Labor Day

WHEATON –  Cantigny Park has announced that it will allow active-duty military personnel and their families to opt out of the parking fees associated with its two museums through Labor Day, according to a release from the park.

The initiative comes through a partnership with the Blue Star Families organization, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Department of Defense and over 1,800 other museums nation-wide. Many museums are waiving the admittance fees, but because Cantigny's museums are always free, the park decided to waive the $5 parking.

This marks the fourth year Cantigny has participated in the program, which begins on Memorial Day.
