Elmhurst cemetery offers tours, stories on Memorial Day

ELMHURST – Historic Mount Emblem Cemetery, 520 E. Grand Ave., Elmhurst, invites visitors to observe Memorial Day on May 27 between noon and 5 p.m. with a small group tour and stories of past veterans.

The day's activities will include a memorial service at 2 p.m. Visitors can view a military vehicle display, and throughout the day the American Diabetes Association will offer American flags for a small donation.

Visitors are invited to place these flags on the graves of fallen heroes along with other decorations.
