Wheaton Library wants to reward summer readers

WHEATON – Some say that a good book can take you wherever your imagination leads. That's what the Wheaton Library is hoping with its Have Book – Will Travel program, starting June 1.

Wheaton residents can pick up a "suitcase" (player card) at the library's reference desk. For every book checked out and read, in any format, readers can earn an entry for weekly prize drawings. For five or more books, bookworms will be eligible to win one of two drawings for a $75 gift card for downtown Wheaton. Those who finish nine books have a chance to win a Kindle Fire HD tablet.

The competition is open to adults, teens and children for different prize pools and lasts until Aug. 10.
