Volunteers needed for Lyman Woods' 10th anniversary workday June 1

DOWNERS GROVE – Volunteers are needed for a workday in honor of the 10th anniversary of the William F. Sherman, Jr. Interpretive Center and National Trails Day on June 1.

Families, Scouts, church and corporate groups, and individuals are all welcome to participate. Projects will include building and installing trellises, planting native shrubs and flowers and trail maintenance.

Four-hour morning, mid-day and afternoon shifts are available. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided thanks to generous donations from Whole Foods Market and Lemon Tree Grocer.
