Hinsdale Humane Society hosts Pet Walk June 2

HINSDALE – The Hinsdale Humane Society will host its 24th-annual Pet Walk from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 2 at Katherine Legge Memorial Park, 5901 South County Line Road.

The walk-a-thon for people and pets is the shelter's largest fundraiser, which helps homeless animals.

Registration is $25 for adults and children under 13 are free. Paid registration includes an official "Pet Walk 2013" T-shirt.

Along with the walk itself, guests can see Frisbee dogs, agility teams, a K-9 nose work team and more. A DJ will provide music for all and face painting, dog carnival games, a pet psychic and a petting zoo will be featured.
