Glen Ellyn Farmer's Market to begin Friday

GLEN ELLYN – The Farmer's Market season in Glen Ellyn is set to begin Friday, with locally grown produce and more available in the downtown area.

The Farmer's Market will run on Fridays from the end of May through October in the Main Street parking lot between Hillside Avenue and Duane Street.

In addition to locally grown produce, the market will feature organic meats, fresh flowers, baked goods, jewelry and other products.

The market is open from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Those interested in becoming a vendor should contact Leslie Cahill, general manager of Bensidoun French Markets in the Chicago area, at 312-575-0286.
