BOLINGBROOK – For the third year in a row, Bolingbrook’s Culver’s Restaurant and Pet Supplies Plus will co-host the “Pets-a-Palooza Pet Adoption Fundraising Festival” from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15.

Generated proceeds benefit more than a dozen local humane societies and rescue agencies that rely solely on donations to feed, shelter, care and place thousands of animals each year in their combined operations.

The fundraiser will take place at Culver’s and Pets Supplies Plus’ neighboring locations at 250 N. Bolingbrook Drive and 270 N. Bolingbrook Drive, respectively.

Event sponsor Spay Illinois will provide free pet micro chipping during the event. Additionally, Culver’s and Pet Supplies Plus will donate 10 percent of their day's sales to the rescue agencies

Highlights include a Bolingbrook Police K-9 unit demonstration, a live reptile show and a dog agility show, and sampling from local food vendors. Organizers will also hold a raffle and items include an iPad, iPad Mini, Xbox360, Kindle and flat screen television.
