St. Francis breaks ground for new athletic facility

St. Francis High School on Tuesday held its groundbreaking ceremony for the “Bring it All Back Home” athletic field campaign to commence construction of the Kuhn Memorial Stadium.

The ceremony was emceed by school president Thomas Bednar and attended by 150 others.

Construction on the athletic facility will continue throughout the summer and the stadium dedication is scheduled for Aug. 30 to correspond with the first home football game.
