The Bulldogs have been winning lots of ball games. RB finished 16-2 in the MSC and is 29-4 overall heading into Monday’s regular season finale and playoff tune up against Hinsdale South.
“It’s been a really fun year,” said RB coach Dallas Till. “I don’t think anybody, including me or them, expected us to do this well. This doesn’t happen a lot. Approaching 30 victories in high school baseball whoever you’re playing is not easy.”
Senior Thomas Leary joined Duffek as a stat sheet filler. He reached base in all four plate appearances, going 2-for-2 with a double, three RBIs, two steals and two runs scored. Kevin Garvey was 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, two stolen bases and a run scored.
