Hinsdale police bust underage drinking party

HINSDALE – Nearly 50 teens were cited for underage alcohol consumption last week after a party in the 700 block of North Oak Street, Hinsdale police said.

Forty-eight juveniles submitted to breath tests that indicated they had consumed alcohol at 8:07 p.m. May 10. The juveniles were issued local ordinance citations and released to parents.

The homeowner's son was issued citations for consumption of alcohol by a minor and allowing people under age 21 to gather and consume alcohol.

The homeowner was not home when police arrived.
