Wheaton Academy students seek rummage sale donations to benefit Zimbabweans

WEST CHICAGO – Four Wheaton Academy seniors are hosting a rummage sale to raise money to help build a fish pond in Zimbabwe, which will provide food and jobs for those living in the area.

The students are partnering with The Evangelical Alliance Mission in Carol Stream, whose missionaries wish to minister to Zimbabweans by giving them food and jobs through the raising of fish.

The seniors hope to help the missionaries raise enough money to build their first fish farm, which will be located close to an orphanage.

Donations of clothes, toys, books and more are needed for the rummage sale. Items may be brought to the Wheaton Academy Commons, 900 Prince Crossing Road in West Chicago, through Wednesday.

The rummage sale will be held on Saturday. For more information, contact RummageSale@wheatonacademy.org.
