Published: Monday, May 13, 2013 2:59 p.m. CST

VILLA PARK – The new members of Villa Park's Board of Trustees will be sworn in during Monday's board meeting, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall.

Judge Robert Kleeman will administer the Oath of Office for Deborah Bullwinkel, village president; Hosanna Korynecky, village clerk; and village trustees Robert Taglia and Robert Wagner.

A review of the election results is still underway and will determine the village's third trustee. Candidate John Davis won the election with three votes more than candidate Tony Gurdak, but the official election results were contested by Gurdak and a review is being completed Tuesday morning.

The third village trustee will be sworn in at a later date.

Immediately following the board meeting, all community members are invited to a reception at Sugar Creek Golf Course, 500 E. Van Buren St., for complimentary food and drinks.
