FEMA to provide assistance to Elmhurst applicants

ELMHURST – Under President Obama's recent disaster declaration for DuPage County, Elmhurst residents affected by the April 18 flooding may apply for FEMA assistance.

Grants to repair homes, replace personal property, unemployment payments and crisis counseling are available to those to qualify. A more detailed summary of available aid can be found at dupageco.org/protectdupage.

Residents can visit disasterassistance.gov or call 800-621-3362 to apply between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
