HINSDALE – Family Resource Network Parent Liaisons Lainey Hately and Jennifer Zock have been honored with an Award of Excellence from the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association.

The distinction was given as part of the INSPRA Distinguished Service Awards, an event held on May 2 at the Park Ridge Country Club to recognize staff, parents, residents, board members and students who have served as public relations ambassadors through leadership and commitment.

Hately and Zock began as volunteers that saw a need for a parent support network within the district's Pupil Services Department and spearheaded the formation of the Family Resource Network. The network began the Summer Camp Expo and provides assistance to parents and colleagues, according to a news release.
