Letter: A presidential comparison
To the Editor: Start date: O.Y.5 (Obama Year 5)
Now 100 days into O.Y.5, here is what Americans have to deal with each and every day. Gasoline prices are over $4 per gallon. Gas prices in Chicago are $.75 a gallon higher than the rest of the country. So much for having a so-called local guy in the White House.
Compare that to Bush; gas had hit an all time high 100 days into Bush's second term when it reached a record $2.05 per gallon. There was outrage. How could America allow those greedy oil guys to rip us off by charging over $2 per gallon?
