LOMBARD – Pavement patching repair work is scheduled to begin near downtown Lombard Friday along east St. Charles Road between Main Street and the fire station and along Westmore-Meyers Road at Emerson Avenue.

Workers will be in the area Friday and pavement removal is scheduled for Monday. During construction hours, some traffic patterns may be changed and parking may be limited. People are reminded to drive cautiously in a work zone.

All work is weather-dependent, but the project is expected to be completed by Tuesday.

Anyone with questions or concerns can contact David Trais, civil engineering technician with the village, by calling 630-620-5740.
