LISLE – Lisle High School pulled out all the stops for its seniors last weekend for prom.

The festivities began at Lisle High School, where students gathered before taking buses to downtown Chicago to the Stan Mansion venue, a spot typically reserved for weddings.

“It was the first time (Stan Mansion) had a prom there,” said April Sanko, the senior class sponsor. “A senior student attended a wedding there and loved it, so she recommended it, and it was just excellent.

“The students were very well-behaved. They got several compliments from the owner of the mansion and the general manager there. They were impressed.”

After a night of dancing, the 209 students, donned in tuxes and fancy dresses, then headed to the Willis Tower Sky Deck for the Lisle High School tradition of the Post Prom Party.

“The kids were even able to go on the ledge at the Sky Deck. It was a huge hit. The kids loved it,” Sanko said.

Seniors Andy Modaff and Nicolette Maas were named king and queen, respectively.
