Kincanon whiffs 12 to give RB series finale at Glenbard South
Bulldogs win resumption of suspended game from Thursday 4-3
GLEN ELLYN — Nearly four days had passed between the top and bottom half of the fifth inning of the series finale between Glenbard South and Riverside Brookfield, but RB ace Will Kincanon stayed on the mound for a complete game.
The game was suspended Thursday due to lightning in the area in the middle of the fifth inning with RB leading 4-2. Kincanon was in control then, and when play resumed on Monday he stayed in control to help the Bulldogs salvage one game from the Metro Suburban Conference series with a 4-3 victory.
Kincanon struck out 12 Raiders in the two-day, one-game performance. Resuming a game on the mound is a first for the RB junior.
