LA GRANGE PARK – Hollywood star and "Glee" producer Michael Hitchcock will serve as one of the celebrity judges for the first annual Pillars Talent Showcase.
The competition is part of Pillars' month-long celebration to fundraise for its programming, which includes mental health and social service programs for communities in the western suburbs.
Entries will be accepted through 5 p.m. May 16. After reviewing all of the entries, Pillars will select 18 semifinalists whose videos will be viewed and voted on by the public. The finalists will then perform at the Showcase’s live concert performance June 22 at the Lyons Township High School’s Reber Center. A panel of celebrity judges and the audience will then select a winner after the finalists face off head-to-head that evening. The winner will receive a $500 cash prize.
