OAK BROOK – The DuPage Convention and Visitors Bureau entertained 17 military reunion planners from the Army Divisions Association on a familiarization tour of DuPage County from April 25 to 28.

More than108,000 members of 11 individual division associations were represented by this group.

The FAM tour offered these association planners the opportunity to personally preview what DuPage has to offer as far as accommodations, dining, shopping and entertainment for their members, with the goal of enticing them to bring their annual reunions to DuPage.

On average, an annual military reunion lasts between three and four days, representing a potential economic impact for the county of around $1 million.
