Anima singing group performs at Elmhurst church

ELMHURST – Anima – Young Singers of Greater Chicago will perform its annual spring concert at Elmhurst Christian Reformed Church, 149 W. Brush Hill Road, on May 10.

The singing group – formerly the Glen Ellyn Children's Chorus – includes students from grades two through 12.

The concert, titled "Portraits," explores the bonds of family, friends and community. It features music by American composers Stephen Paulus, Elizabeth Alexander, Paul Caldwell and more.

String players from the Chicago Youth Symphony will accompany singers. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range in price from $10 to $20.
