Elmhurst College hosts Richard M. Daley biographer

ELMHURST – Keith Koeneman, author of "First Son: The Biography of Richard M. Daley," will speak Wednesday at Elmhurst College, 190 Prospect Ave., Elmhurst.

Koeneman's book, released in March, chronicles Daley's life and his influence on Chicago through more than 100 interviews with those close to the former mayor. Koeneman also looks at Daley's reach beyond Chicago and his relationship to Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod and others.

The talk begins at 7 p.m. in the Founders Lounge of Frick Center. Tickets costs $10 for the general public and are free to Elmhurst College students, faculty, staff and alumni. Tickets are available at the door or at elmhurst.edu/tix.
