AARP offers safe driving class to Elmhurst seniors

ELMHURST – AARP is offering a course for seniors age 55 and older that could qualify them for an insurance discount if they have clean driving records.

The class covers driving skills and tips. The course is eight hours over two days, May 8 and 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Abbey, 407 W. St. Charles Road, Elmhurst.

Attendees are required to pre-register and complete both days. The course costs $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members and must be paid by check to AARP. Payments may be brought to the first day of class.
