Published: Wednesday, May 1, 2013 3:57 p.m. CDT

LEMONT – Pace's expansion of its Bus on Shoulders service will include an additional evening stop in Lemont.

Effective Monday, May 6, a late evening departure for Route 755 has been added to shuttle passengers to the Pace Old Chicago Park-n-Ride in Bolingbrook and then make stops upon request at the Metra Heritage Corridor stations in Lemont, Lockport and at Joliet Union Station.

The Bus on Shoulders program is a southwest suburban commute featuring Chicago-bound express buses that use the shoulder of the Stevenson in order to avoid heavy traffic.
