Lisle Savings Bank branch still shut down due to April floods

LISLE – Lisle Savings Bank's branch at 1450 Maple Ave. is closed indefinitely as 15 feet of water deluged the bank building during floods April 18.

The bank's other Lisle location at 4720 Main St. in Lisle is open, and customers are asked to use that branch for their banking needs, according to a letter from CEO James Renn.

"While both offices flooded, we were able to quickly mitigate the damage sustained at our Main Street office and our customers were served without interruption," Renn wrote in a press release.

"We are working extremely hard to both quickly and thoughtfully, recover the high level of convenience and services we are known to provide. We believe the steps we are taking will permanently rectify any future flooding impact on our customers."
