VILLA PARK – Several community groups attended a special breakfast at Willowbrook High School last week to learn about District 88's Feed My Starving Children Senior Service Project.

Willowbrook students invited representatives from the Villa Park Lions Club, the Villa Park Rotary Club, the Villa Park Kiwanis Club, the Lombard Kiwanis Club and the Willowbrook Athletic Boosters Club to the breakfast.

Students educated these groups about the Feed My Starving Mobile Pack event that the Willowbrook and Addison Trail senior classes are organizing. The event is scheduled for May 18 at Willowbrook and the students are working to raise $22,000 in order to pack 100,000 meals that will be sent to malnourished children around the world.

Community members can donate online at d88fmsc.com.
