Clarendon Hills Park District 'Home Alone' class returns May 29

CLARENDON HILLS – The Clarendon Hills Park District's "Home Alone" class will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. May 29 at the Community Center, 315 Chicago Ave.

This class is designed for boys and girls ages 6 to 10 who enjoy caring for younger siblings, are willing to accept more responsibility, stay home alone for brief periods of time or hope to babysit in the future.

The topics covered include: home safety, handling emergencies, use of keys, dealing with strangers and house rules. This class is taught by an American Red Cross instructor. 

Cost of this program is $35 for residents of Clarendon Hills and $44 for children living in nearby communities. Advance registration at the Community Center is required.
