ELMHURST — Three York athletes signed letters of intent last week to continue their athletic careers in college.

River Pitlock will be attending Butler to play baseball. Pitlock helped the Dukes win the West Suburban Silver last year and is the ace of the pitching staff this year.

Shannon Sullivan will be swimming at Lewis University in Romeoville. Sullivan is a three-time state qualifier and competed in two individual events and two relays at state this year.

Gracie Sullivan, Shannon's cousin, signed to play softball at Caldwell College in Caldwell, New Jersey. She is one of the veterans of the Dukes' softball team this spring as one of just two seniors on the team.
