Huntley High School announced that it has hired Christopher Rozanski, previously an assistant basketball and football coach at Boylan, as its new athletic director.

Rozanski was an assistant principal at Boylan last year. Before that, he was head baseball coach and then assistant athletic director from 2005-13. He was also a science teacher at Boylan.

He replaces Michelle Jakubowski, who left Huntley to become a teacher and volleyball coach at Barrington School District 220.

Rozanski's name does not appear on the district's HR/Personnel report for Thursday's school board meeting. A message sent to the district asking for clarification on the omission was not immediately returned. The district's offices were closed on Friday.
