WHEATON - It's been a struggle this spring for the Wheaton Warrenville South girls softball team.

But on Monday in Wheaton, the Tigers put it all together in a 4-3 come-from-behind win over Wheaton North in eight innings.

With Sammy Granger throwing five and two-thirds scoreless innings in relief, Wheaton Warenville South overcame a 3-2 deficit.

Kimmy Hayes two-out single in the fifth knotted the score at three-apiece and Jen Harkabus plated the game-winning run with an RBI-double in the eighth.

Hayes also added a leadoff home run to begin the game.

Katherine Meyer and Paige Grittner had RBI-singles for Wheaton North.
